Approach

The journey thus far has taught Jody a couple of things: although life isn’t always fair, easy, or predictable, the hard stuff can lead to growth, resiliency, and renewed hope for the future.  In order to facilitate the template for positive therapeutic outcomes, Jody helps the client move forward with a fresh perspective on life’s challenges. She creates a safe place of acceptance and respect, encouraging clients to work toward solutions incorporating identified strengths and resources.  Jody primarily uses an integrative, hope-focused approach based upon the cognitive-behavioral treatment model.  This provides the framework for constructing, and then accomplishing, desired goals for personal growth and change.
