Megan is currently accepting new clients for Soonercare/Medicaid (Adults, Adolescent, and Children)
Megan and her husband have two children and live in Bartlesville. They spend most of their time enjoying spending quality time outside with family and friends who live close.
Megan began her journey by achieving her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pittsburg State University. She started working in the mental health field as a Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialist, and later as a Care Coordinator. While working full-time in the field with children, adolescents and families, Megan obtained her master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. After working 5 years in community mental health, she was trained and certified as a psychometrist and administered psychological and neuropsychological assessments under the directions of Dr. Spence Wilson. Megan is now working as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Candidate with Wilson Psychological Associates and accepting new clients.
Clients working with Megan can expect a very compassionate and non-judgmental counseling relationship. Megan works collaboratively with each individual to develop and achieve goals in therapy. She provides counseling using primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Megan is also currently engaged in application to attain EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) training to be completed October of this year.
